Virtual LinkPoint gives you the power of a POS terminal or software without the hardware/software and maintenance expenses.

Virtual LinkPoint allows merchants to enter credit card transactions into their own Internet-connected Web browser.  The program is ideal for the merchant who wants a PC-based solution and appreciates the automatic, transparent software upgrade feature.   Customer orders may come from a non-commerce-enabled website, telephone, fax, mail or e-mail.  The orders are entered into an online PC, where sales, return authorizations and reports are all provided through the LinkPoint Secure Payment Gateway.

Advantages
Fraud protection checks for common patterns and has the ability to block Internet protocol (IP) addresses and credit card numbers.   Merchants can also create a "negative file" or high-risk consumers/card numbers.  Virtual LinkPoint automatically performs numerous Internet fraud checks in real-time, allows merchants to lock out specific credit card numbers and IP addresses and makes Address Verification Service (AVS) information available for approved transactions.

Merchant reports and tools provide complete, up-to-the-minute reporting.  They allow merchants to specify search and time criteria to generate reports summarizing all successful orders, listing all transactions or showing all orders for a particular product.  Merchants can also perform management tasks from the merchant reports and tools interface, including confirming shipment of hard goods and issuing credits.

Requirements
Merchant requires a PC with Windows 95/NT and Internet connections via browsers 3.0 or higher (e.g., Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator/Navigator).
